Shreya Lakshman is currently pursuing her Master’s in Applied Data Science at USC Viterbi School of Engineering. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Electronics and Communication from PES University, Bangalore, India. She has professional experience as a Software Engineer at Hewlett Packard Enterprise, where she gained expertise in state-of-the-art technologies and collaborated with cross-functional teams to streamline deployment processes and increase efficiency, leveraging automation. She is keen on exploring how data science techniques integrate into solving complex biological big data problems and is drawn to the interdisciplinary approach of data science and biology.
